Tentative agreement reached with MIT GSU-UE

Dear members of the MIT community,

We are pleased to share that we have reached a tentative agreement with the MIT Graduate Student Union (MIT GSU-UE). The next step is for members of the MIT GSU-UE to vote on the ratification of the agreement.

We believe the tentative agreement strikes a balance between the important principles that have guided our approach from the start and the issues the graduate students raised in the negotiations. We will have more to say once the students have had an opportunity to vote.

The MIT Bargaining Team
